Wild birds have always been among my favourite creatures.  Since living in Norfolk I’ve produced many small, what I call, bird icons, which celebrate sightings.  I use a range of reference and have a large collection of bird books,  feathers picked up on walks, old bird’s nests and I take many photographs.  These paintings are my homage to these beautiful, often endangered birds.
